CARE GUIDE
- ๐ง WATER โ keeps the soil moist. Trees drink more on hot, dry days. Shortcut: tap the open air above or beside the tree.
- ๐ซ MIST โ leaves love humidity. Mist when the air is dry. Shortcut: tap the blossoms โ the tap also offers the ๐ trim tool for 5 seconds (click it, then choose which pads to pinch).
- ๐งช FEED โ fertilizer speeds up growth. Overdo it and the roots burn. Shortcut: tap the pebbles in the pot.
- ๐ชต BRANCH MENU โ just tap any branch: a little โ๏ธ/โฐ menu appears right there.
- โ๏ธ PRUNE โ click a branch (or its blossom) to cut it. Pruned spots bud back denser.
- ๐ TRIM โ pinch the blossom pads: trimmed pads regrow smaller and finer, ramification gets denser, and the opened crown catches light (a short growth boost). Costs a little vigor โ a weak tree refuses.
- โฐ WIRE โ click a branch to wire it, then drag to bend; when you let go, the tool puts itself away. While the wire is on, just grab the copper coil and drag to re-bend anytime โ no tool needed (a tap on the coil opens the menu to unwire). The wire must stay on 1โ3 months to set โ thin shoots are quickest, thick branches slowest, and the growing season helps โ and removing it is always up to you (tap the coil โ UNWIRE). Remove it after setting and the shape is kept; remove it early and the branch slowly springs back (you'll be warned first).
- ๐ฎ FUTURE โ preview your bonsai after 2 to 9 years of good care. Just a vision โ nothing changes.
- โฉ โ time-lapse: skip one hour of growth.
- ใฐ๏ธ ZEN SAND โ the pot sits in a tray of sand. Drag across it to rake patterns (a tap presses a little dimple). Rain slowly smooths the sand.
- ๐ ROTATE โ grab and drag the pot itself (or use โ/โ) to see every side. Dragging the background does nothing.
- ๐ฑ RIGHT-CLICK โ puts any tool away, closes menus, cancels a drag (same as esc).
- ๐ ZOOM โ scroll, pinch, +/โ buttons, or the
+/-keys. While zoomed in, drag up/down (or โ/โ) to move the view; zooming out re-centers. - ๐ชฆ IT CAN DIE โ if HEALTH sits at rock bottom for about four days, the tree withers away for good: gray wood, bare branches, no more care. You'll be warned while it's dying โ water and tend it to pull it back. A dead tree can only be replaced (โ โ ๐ฑ NEW TREE).
- โฆ PIXEL DENSITY โ the density button cycles 1ร / 1.5ร / 2ร resolution (2ร is the default): same scene, finer or chunkier pixels.
- ๐งฌ DNA LINK โ โ โ COPY DNA LINK copies a short URL holding your tree's seed and its whole care history. Anyone opening it sees your exact bonsai, read-only โ replayed from the history, not a screenshot.
The real seasons drive the simulation: the tree blooms pink for ~3 weeks in early spring, wears green leaves through summer, turns orange in autumn, and stands bare and dormant all winter (hemisphere-aware from your location). Your real sky paints the scene โ rain, frost, wind and night are ambience. Growth runs near real-life pace โ a silhouette takes about a month and a half, and refinement never ends. It keeps living while the page is closed, and every tree is exactly reproducible from its ๐งฌ DNA.
